Bob's bits.
This is my "Manuka Beetle" imitation, I'm sure Bob didn't have this in mind when he first tied it, but it's the best thing going. It's also quite good in the New Zealand backcountry when the rivers are low. But don't tell anyone.
Tying instructions:
size 12 hook - black tail, black body, a rib of some sort, some more black, some white stuff which we'll call the wing and then more black stuff. Pretty technical, but I can go there.
