Leaded hare's ear 12.
Hare's Ear (Doug was his name) would be proud of me. He'd have been even more proud of me had I only tied this fly. They call this a Hare and Copper in New Zealand where, it just so happens, they have the same philosophy.
Note well the way I've split the tails; that was a mistake... but it will still work.
Tying instructions:
size 12 leaded hare's ear - make sure you (a) split the tails and (b) leave a little bit of lead showing - that's quite imitative.
