Okay, serious flyfishing time; you need several sort of sedges: you need high floaters that you can pull and you need in-the-surface "damp" flies that you leave in-the-surface static.
This is more a stillwater/slow river fly. You'll notice that it's scruffy - I think flies should be scruffy. Hell I'm scruffy.
Tying instructions:
size 10 hook, brown thread, light olive seal body ribbed with mono, uneven deer tips wing tied and semi clipped muddler style, olive seal whipfinish head cockup.
