Mataura dun.

It may not look much to you, but you have to remember I have a "trained-eye". I even see like a fish sometimes. This fly is deadly. We've (I say we here, because I can't take full credit for this fly, as much as I'd like too - Camo-Guy, another great flytyer and a friend of mine, was also involved in the creation of this pattern) so anyway, we've been studying the Mataura River in New Zealand for the past decade in search of the "beyond-perfect" dun. And this is what we came up with. I think you'll agree, it's inspirational.

Tying instructions:
The first thing you should do is visit the Mataura, perhaps go for a swim, drink some of the water. What you are aiming for here is to become the river; to feel it with your soul. Guy reckoned that was pretty important when he fell in.
