Hoverfly.
You *could* fish a dry invicta, this is just a little more specific. I've occasionally found fish selectively feeding on hoverfly. It's a good top or middle dropper pattern late in the season. Try daddy on the top, hoverfly in the middle, ant on the point. Essential in my opinion.
Tying instructions:
size 12, olive thread, yellow seal ribbed through with black seal on a dubbing loop, reverse rib with mono, light blue dun wing, gingerish hackle.
