Spinner 16.
I have *never* caught a fish on a spinner pattern.
Mind you I've never fished one either; I guess many of my flies are taken as spinners. I've always carried them of course, but I don't think the fish are that choosy - I wish they were, and I suspect they must be somewhere... that's whay I still carry them. Although I have this feeling that the Shipman's will work...
Tying instructions:
size 18 (like it really matters, especially since I've called this spinner 16), three tails (I've used a few more here, just in case I lose a couple), olive CDC (it only *looks* yellow), poly yarn wing tied figure-of-8 (cos that's like really important).
