OK I don't use these very much, but there was an accident on the cross-Canada highway and so I needed something quick to tie while sitting in the jam.
Matt and I had some excellent success fishing them for Bull Trout in BC last Fall. So they can be quite handy at times.
Camped out under the stars as I type.
